Jill Bergerhofer, M.A., Ed.D.

Dr. Jill Bergerhofer is a lifelong Kansas City resident, currently living in Stilwell, KS, with her husband. She is the proud parent of three adult children and two beloved pets—along with a collection of reptile “companions.” In her free time, she enjoys birding, gardening, reading, and camping.
A lifelong learner and committed servant leader, Dr. Bergerhofer recently retired from a 40-year career in PK–12 education. During her time with Blue Valley USD, she taught 7th and 8th grade science and held several leadership roles, including District Mentor Program Lead, Effective Teacher Module Program Coordinator, and School Improvement Specialist.
Dr. Bergerhofer continues her impact in education as an adjunct professor at Mid-America Nazarene University, where she teaches an online STEAM Methods and Practicum course. She also facilitates both synchronous and asynchronous professional learning and Master’s-level courses for PLS 3rd Learning. In recognition of her contributions to science education, she was honored with the 2021 Randy Dix Junior High Science Teacher Award from the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Department.
